Refund Policy

1. Free Tier

The Free tier of Working Mate is provided at no cost and requires no payment information. No refunds apply.

2. Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Standard and Pro tiers) are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment processor, Creem.

3. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

• First-time purchase: Within 30 days of your initial payment, you may request a full refund regardless of usage.
• Technical issues: If the Software is materially non-functional on your device and we cannot resolve the issue within 7 days of your report, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
• Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge, wrong amount), we will refund the erroneous charge in full.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will NOT be granted in the following cases:

• Requests made more than 30 days after the initial purchase (unless due to a billing error)
• Change of mind after the 30-day window has passed
• Failure to meet system requirements that were clearly stated before purchase
• Issues caused by third-party AI service downtime or API rate limits (outside our control)
• Violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy resulting in license revocation

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at working_mate@outlook.com with the following information:

• The email address used for the purchase
• Your Creem order/invoice number
• Reason for the refund request

We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops automatic renewal; your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are given for unused days within the current billing period unless covered by Section 3.

7. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly for any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks without prior communication may result in immediate license revocation and may incur additional fees.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.
